Exploring the Natal Chart:An Astrology Class Series of 3

Make it stand out

Classical Astrologie I: Foundations

$120 USD (3 Lessons), or $50 USD (drop-in)

CLA Foundations is an introductory course contextualising the history of predictive astrology. Students will not only examine the principle components of a horoscope, but explore the rationale of each variable.

*The First class will cover classical planets and zodiacal division.

*The second class outlines Essential Dignity and House Division.

*The third class will explain Aspects, Lots & Nodes

Classes will be taught by the brilliant Mar Chan. In her words: “I began studying Astrology at the age of [16]... Strangely, appropriately, it was intimate, and natural. Soon friends past, and present, would always ask me to interpret their nativity. For a while, it was entertaining (and I do enjoy the process of learning more about others), but it quickly grew tiresome. Personality assessments felt hollow, and in-consequential to me.

So I pondered if there was a more productive way to do what I love: sleuthing... At that point, Classical Astrology was still enigmatic to me, so I began to investigate. Of course, to my delight, it was all predictive. Finally, I get to provide insights with purpose. Thus, fulfilling my natal promise (North Node in Scorpio + Moon in Gemini).

Doubtless, I love the challenge. Horary Astrology, my métier, presents each case individually. No longer was I shackled to Modern Astrology's prescriptivist automation. Admittedly, I am partial the niche aspect of true horoscopic work. The history of Western Astrology is a path of service. So I find solace in the fact that my work possesses the potential to benefit others.”

7 Herbs to Start your Kitchen Apothecary

One of the most common questions posed to herbalists by the curious is "‘where do I start'?’ So we’ll try to make it easy in this evening discussion of 7 plants to start caring for yourself and your family right at home.

We hope you might already be using some of these plants and mushrooms in your kitchen and find it easy to be friends with the one or two that you may not already know. In any case, bring a pen and paper or something electronic to take notes!

We’ll drink an infusion made from some of the plants we’ll be discussing so you can taste and smell these allies. You’ll also leave with an electronic handout with recipes and info for future use of the palnts in discussion!

Certainly one of the most fundamental ways to get to know plants is to work with one plant, one at a time for one month. But here, we will get you in a place where you can lean on plants commonly found in the kitchen that you may already know and just think to use them medicinally as well as culinarily.
